After the great success of the first edition, that was elected by the press and the visitors as "the wine and gastro event of the year", in Croatia, the second ZAGREB WINE GOURMET FESTIVAL will take place on 27 and 28 of February 2009 in the historical frame of the MUSEUM OF ARTS AND CRAFTS, in the heart of the Croatian capital. This unique exhibition of contemporary life style will present the best Croatian and international producers of wine and delicacies. Because of the exclusive programme of workshops, wine tastings and cooking shows, and the participation of renomated chefs and top level guests, the ZAGREB WINE GOURMET FESTIVAL 2009 is a meeting point not to miss for the professionals, hotel and restaurant f&b managers, wine distributors, specialized journalists, but also for the foodies looking for selected wines and top quality products on the market.

"A great event in a great frame". This is the description, made by an Italian journalist for the magazine "Il Sommelier", of the first ZAGREB WINE GOURMET FESTIVAL that took place the 7 and 8 of March 2008, in the Mimara Museum, in Zagreb. More than 90 international and local producers of top quality wine and food, gathered in the elegant museum in the heart of the Croatian capital. In two days this unique exhibition of contemporary life style, in which oenology and gastronomy represent two essential aspects of human creativity, was attended by 2500 visitors.
