THE ZAGREB WINE GOURMET FESTIVAL 2009 at the Museum of Arts and Crafts on February the 27th and 28th 2009

The Zagreb Wine Gourmet Festival 2009 will be held on February the 27th and 28th at the prestigious Museum of Arts and Crafts (MUO) in the centre of the city. This year’s event will gather 140 top-class wine makers from Croatia, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and Serbia. Collectively, they will present their finest wines and the leading Croatian distributors will present countless different wine labels from around the world. Visitors will be able to sample up to 500 of the best wines whilst enjoying carefully chosen delicacies made from the excellent small producers who will also participate at this unique exhibition of the artistry of life. .

SPLIT Prokurative

Festival Gloria 1001 delicija 2008.

The 4^th Festival “Gloria 1001 Delicija” (1001 delicacies) took place in Split, on the Prokurative Square, on May, 30-31, 2008, and has turned the City of Diocletian into the Mediterranean gastronomic capital. It started the day before the official inauguration of the festival, with a delightful dinner on the marvellous terrace of Hotel Park, prepared by chefs from Croatia, Italy, France and Slovenia. Six courses, six excellent wines, accompanied by candlelight, the parfume of yellow broom, and the music performed by the “Prijatelji šansone”.

More than 90 international and local producers of top quality wine and food, gathered in the elegant museum in the heart of the Croatian capital. In two days this unique exhibition of contemporary life style, in which oenology and gastronomy represent two essential aspects of human creativity, was attended by 2500 visitors.
