"1001 delicija" is a brand that promotes the culture of food and wine!

Our wish is to present original food and wine of highest quality and the traditional flavours of Croatia, as part of a larger Mediterranean region.

Croatia has recently become part of the world most attractive tourist destinations. With the sun, the sea and the exceptional cultural heritage, a very important part of this touristic offer is certainly the gastronomy. But only the one that offers first quality food and wine.

Small producers, who are growing in number, and some chefs have started to renew our rich culinary heritage, by using local ingredients of high quality.

Like them, "1001 delicija" stands for the highest oeno-gastronomic offer, which means high quality food and wine, produced in extremely good ecological conditions, which exist in Croatia, and have to be preserved.

"1001 delicija" is, besides that, the name of the first festival of traditional oeno-gastronomic products of highest quality and high gastronomy, that took place on the 17th and the 18th of June 2005 in Split, on the square Prokurative, and has become a traditional manifestation of the city under the famous hill of Marjan.

Festivals, exhibitions, presentations of products, meeting the producers and the culinary experts, presenting them to the media, food and wine tasting, gastronomic events and demonstrations, cooking schools, thematic workshops, promotions of books and magazines, are just a small part of the 1001 activities we organize under the brand "1001 delicija".
